When someone speaks or sings, it seems as if we can instantaneously hear the sound; but, actually, we don’t. Sounds are vibrations traveling at a certain speed through different substances such as air, liquid, or gas. They’re like surges of energy, an invisible power moving through the elements. Ultrasound waves are an example of the power of sound, with frequencies higher than the upper audible limit of human hearing. Most of us find it difficult to understand the potential behind the vibration of sound; we can only imagine when we take a look at what ultrasound can help us do.

Perhaps this was why I became profoundly interested in listening to the healing voice of Donatella Moltisanti. Aside from being an opera performer and teacher, Donatella is a certified nutritionist, a holistic health counselor, and has studied with numerous spiritual teachers in widely different parts of the world.

While she has worked with top world executives, prestigious athletes, and celebrities, her purpose is to serve everyone and be the candle that can light a thousand candles. As Buddha once taught “A thousand candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened; happiness never decreases by being shared.” This candle is expressed through Donatella’s soulful voice.

I have been a long-time observer of what sound can contribute to one’s experiences. I have witnessed speakers leading a room to higher levels of energy with their voices, and I have felt the sensation of openness while listening to the symphony of an orchestra. From changing a mood, to affecting molecule structures of water, as in the experiment published in the book, The Message From Water, by Masaru Emoto, to providing the most exceptional technology when conducting noninvasive brain surgeries using high-frequency sound waves, sound has been shown to be very powerful. Thus, it’s not so hard to believe that the sound of a voice also has the power to heal. Such is the case with the voice of Donatella Moltisanti

While I have no specialized equipment to measure the effects on the vibrations of her voice, I have the impact of the experience on me.

I recall my days of loud music in discothéques, I could still feel the vibration inside my solar plexus, even when I was back home. If you asked me to express the experience of this sound in words, I would say, “A sense of rush, and sometimes confusion.”

As I entered fully into the experience of listening to Donatella’s “motherly” opera voice, the words that came to mind to describe it were, “A surge of power moving inside of me that gives me hope, a sense of elements uniting, trust, and a feeling of being unconditionally loved.”

Donatella’s music is devoted to healing brokenness, and I can see why, as it is a loving caress to your soul, especially if you allow your walls to fall, lower your barriers, and be embraced by the spell of healing as I did through my favorite melody, “Higher Heart.”

If you or a loved one needs any sort of healing, open your heart to Donatella’s voice. Her purpose is to stimulate healing; the rest of the journey is up to you.
