Mama’s and Papa's Forum
Through the Mama’s and Papa’s Forum with Donatella, I am learning to parent not only my children, but also myself – rewriting my life story with new insights and utilizing powerful new tools in my thoughts and actions. As a result, I now feel and see joy, in both my daughters and myself.
Thank you for being my spiritual teacher and constantly showing me what I need to work on. There are simply no words how much you have changed the direction of my life for the brighter.
Everything in life is about “ENERGY!” I’ve come to learn that the “INVISIBLE” is much more important than the visible realities of this world.
I grew up in the U.S. with my immigrant Asian parents. My personal journey begins by having strict parents and raised to be a good girl who obeys without question. More importantly, I’ve always carried this “scarcity” feeling though my family lineage. It is a constant battle that I am consciously trying to disempower! It’s like an unseen wound that does not heal… And inadvertently, I’ve given this energy to my daughter. I can see that she doesn’t feel confident and has negative self-talk. With the priceless guidance of Donatella and Mamas Forum, I am working to rewrite my story so I can change the direction for future generations.
Many thanks to the beautiful souls, mothers in the group who have gifted me with their love, honesty, strength, perseverance, kindness, and words of encouragement. Honoring me is honoring all mothers as a force of nature.
I have been working with Donatella for almost a year. She is truly God-sent. Her parenting approach is unlike anything I have ever done before, and it works. She teaches me to be firm and direct, but in a very loving way. Thanks to her advice, I am still a work in progress, but I am no longer yelling at my kids. Instead, I have become more aware and more peaceful. With Donatella’s beautiful energy, I have been able to create a much more loving and peaceful environment in my home.
I am completely grateful for The Aware Parenting course and Mama's and Papa's Forum. Donatella is the most gifted and loving teacher I have ever found. Her words and downloads are so on-point, loving and truthful, guiding me through a journey each week of deep realizations, empowerment and healing on so many levels. More and more I feel the amazing effects of all this and see profound shifts in my daughters. This course is extremely important for our times as our children need us to be the most solid and pure container for them.
In helping me work through a traumatic experience from my adolescence, Donatella has helped me be more present in my life and my son’s life. My son’s anxiety at bedtime has dissipated as a result, and he now he goes to sleep peacefully.
I think back to my first cycle of "lurking" in the New Moon series a couple of years ago ... I felt a connection to the ideas, but my body needed to adjust to the impact of the new information, so I backed away for a while.
I signed up again, several months later, and it has been magical to watch my confidence evolve from a few random comments, to the allegorical love poems, to standing tall in my truth in the moment and speaking from the elevated heart. I am at last free to share my gift, which is the amazing life I have lived.
All that is necessary is being.
